The fruit bowl

A wide, footed bowl thrown from a dark, gritty stoneware body. The outside is left raw so the clay does the talking; inside, layered glazes pool and break over each other — ink blue, amber and a soft speckled grey that swirls into the centre.

Made for fruit on the kitchen table, but just as happy holding keys by the door or nothing at all.
